Christoph Waltz Spoofs 'Idol' on 'Jimmy Kimmel' (Video)
The Oscar winner enlists Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson for a comedic short.
Oscar winner Christoph Waltz spoofed American Idol in a short that ran Thursday on Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show.
In the video, Waltz, playing up his Inglorious Basterds persona, began to judge Idol singer Stefano Langone.
Langone -- who was voted off the Fox competition on Thursday night -- was "executed" by Waltz’s two armed guards. Waltz said while sipping an oversized mug of hot cocoa, “You don’t inflate a malfunctioning ego. No, you eliminate him. Permanently.”
Waltz then did a quick dance to “Who Let the Dogs Out” in front of judges Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson and asked them to critique his performance in order to "save" their lives.
Lopez and Jackson followed his request and "saved" their lives, but Tyler did not make the cut.
