Haley Reinhart Falls During 'American Idol' Performance (Video)
"Would you fall for me?," judge Steven Tyler teased the top 3 finalist.
American Idol top 3 contender Haley Reinhart took a nasty spill during her contestants' choice performance of Led Zeppelin's "What Is and Should Never Be."
Tripping on the stairs in front of judges' table, she fell to her hands and knees but got right back up, barely missing a beat. Her father Harry was playing guitar on the Led Zeppelin classic.
Said judge Steven Tyler after her performance: "Would you fall for me?" He continued to praise her peformance adding, "It's not about the fall it's how you get up."
Jennifer Lopez seconded that emotion, bringing up her own performance at Wango Tango this past weekend: "I've fallen, Beyonce's fallen ... You keep going. It's a sign of a professional who knows what they're doing."
Cracked Randy Jackson: "I thought it was planned!"
The tumble didn't seem to hurt Reinhart: All three judges handed a first-round victory to the Idol finalist who's vying for a spot on next week's finale.
Beyonce was the mentor for the first round of the competition.
