ABC Orders Summer Singing Competition Show 'Duets' with Kelly Clarkson, Robin Thicke

The Texas powerhouse and American Idol alum announced the second leg of her tour Monday morning on Ryan Seacrest's radio show. It kicks off July 21 in July 21 in Ridgefield, Wash., with The Fray as co-headliner.

Fingers crossed Clarkson will continue her successful run of cover songs, which have become quite popular on YouTube. During the first leg of the tour in support of her latest album, Clarkson covered Cee Lo Green's "Forget You," Coldplay's "Fix You," Heart's "What About Love," Journey's "Open Arms" (with Clay Aiken), Demi Lovato's "Skyscraper" and Whitney Houston's "Exhale" (with Tamyra Gray), among other hits.

In other Clarkson news, her upcoming reality show on ABC, Duets, begins May 24 -- the day after the Idol season-11 finale.
