Kris Allen Releases New Single via 'Pictionary' (Video)
The "American Idol" Season 8 winner releases the title and a preview of his new single by playing the game Pictionary.
Fans of American Idol's Kris Allen are celebrating today as the season 8 winner announces his new single, "Vision of Love." Due out in stores on March 26 and iTunes the following day, it comes almost two and a half years after he released his self-titled debut album.
Allen was nominated for Break-Out Musical Artist at the People’s Choice Awards in 2010. His single “Live Like We’re Dying,” which peaked at No. 18 on the Billboard Hot 100, was nominated at the Billboard Music Awards in 2011 for Top Christian song.
With a new single coming out, the Idol champ plays a fun game of Pictionary with friends to try to get them to guess the name of his new single.
No, it doesn’t have anything to do with kidneys or avocados like his friends predict. But it does rhyme with “Fishin’ for pugs,” the last clue he gives them.
The video reveals the name of the Arkansas singer’s latest single, and a preview of the song. The single is from Allen's sophomore album, which he says will be released sometime late spring.
