Stevie Nicks on 'American Idol' Judge Nicki Minaj: 'I Would Have Strangled Her'
In response to the Minaj's Mariah Carey-"American Idol" feud, the Fleetwood Mac star had angry words to say.
Stevie Nicks has a message for American Idol judge Nicki Minaj: Stand back!
Nicks, cited by many season 11 Idol alumni as their favorite mentor, is disgusted by Minaj's remarks that she would have shot fellow judge Mariah Carey over a contestant disagreement.
"How dare this little girl! … If I had been Mariah I would have walked over to Nicki and strangled her to death right there," Nicks told The Daily as she was promoting her new documentary, In Your Dreams.
“I would have killed her in front of all those people and had to go to jail for it," she added.
Although Nicks said she enjoyed coaching the Idol hopefuls, the 64-year old Fleetwood Mac singer revealed that judging is definitely not in her future.
"If you stick me in the middle of a burning fire, I don’t think I’d like it very much, she said.
