James Read Tantour Sculpting duo, $54, is an pearl illuminator powder, and self-tan infused mineral bronzer in one compact. For face and body, it offers skin a light, tan look that’s incredibly natural looking. No white lines or deep orange crevices here, this compact gives your face a foolproof hint of summer without the treasure map of contour highways. It's practically foolproof, but a suggestion would be to apply the natural light hue first, with a fluffy all over bronzer brush, in areas that the sun would naturally hit. The compact itself is large, about the size of an iPhone plus, which makes touch-ups easy.

  • Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate

Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate, in 01 Scintillate, $80, is one product that’s been missing from our makeup bag. Try the creme blush for a natural, sheer flush that builds a sculpted look. The darker shade goes on incredibly simply - a little goes a long way -  giving the perfect dimensional flush to the cheeks. The highlighter is gift from the beauty gods only Tom Ford would think of – a shimmer-free tone that brightens and boosts the look of healthy skin. Apply to the cupid's bow, brow bone, top of cheekbones and swipe on your clavicle bone when wearing off-the-shoulder tops.
