Those who have made the pilgrimage to San Diego for Comic-Con International in recent years know it's not just about the exclusive footage, the celebrity sightings or the swag – though those are great perks as well. It's also about the parties. As the annual convention has grown in size, scope and attendees in the past decade, so have the number of events for those in the industry looking to schmooze away from the exhibition floor.

This year's Comic-Con, which runs July 20-24, looks to be no different, with event hosts ranging from annual parties like Warner Bros. and Fox's yearly bashes, as well as new events hosted by the likes of Nickelodeon and Funny or Die.

The key is staying afloat of all the nightlife events Comic-Con has to offer on top of keeping track of the many film and TV-centered panels at the convention. Thankfully, The Hollywood Reporter has compiled a full guide to parties at Comic-Con International, set to kick off Wednesday, July 20, with Preview Night.
