Ross is the longest-serving head of a network sales division — she also was the first female to have held that job when she took it in 2002 — and leads one of the most stable staffs in the business. She also is overseeing an NCAA joint advertising venture with Turner and is active in two cancer charities: City of Hope and Memorial Sloan-Kettering.
