Ross is the longest-serving head of a network sales division — she also was the first female to have held that job when she took it in 2002 — and leads one of the most stable staffs in the business. Despite the economic challenges of the past few years, the New York-based executive has led CBS to another record-breaking upfront, her fifth in a row.
