Your handy guide to the L.A. shopping scene for the week ahead.
It's been a long week, America, so let's do what we do best (and maybe give the economy a little boost) by indulging in some retail therapy. Here, a look at the best sales in L.A. to hit up in the week ahead.
Do you like designer labels? Do you like discounts? Are you also a fan of warehouses?
Gilt City Los Angeles has all three at its weekend warehouse sale, which boasts brands like Valentino, Derek Lam, Jimmy Choo, Helmut Lang, Tom Ford and more at up to 80 percent off. But wait, there's more! The sale will also feature a selection of chic homegoods and childrenswear.
The event, which takes place on Friday and Saturday at Siren Studios, has a $10 entrance fee — but don't worry, that includes the complimentary cocktail. Get your credit cards ready to do some serious swiping (both because of the awesome deals and because they don't accept cash).

New York-based designer Rachel Comey is giving her L.A. fans a treat this Veteran's Day (Friday, Nov. 11) with a sample sale taking place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Comey is best known for her contemporary designs — which have attracted fans like Tracee Ellis Ross, Debbie Harry and artist Cindy Sherman — and for showcasing a diverse range of women of all sizes, ages and races in her ads and on her runways.

If you're strapped for cash, this one's for you.
Everything at Parker Smith Denim's warehouse sale is $10 or under. Yep — and some of it is only $5. The brand, which is a favorite of professional denim-wearers Miranda Kerr and Jennifer Aniston, will be hosting the sale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17 and Friday, Nov. 18.
