If you're not a part of the horde of Angelenos caravanning out to Palm Desert for Coachella this weekend, we suggest taking advantage of the empty city (think of all the available parking!) to check out the sales and store openings taking place across L.A.

  • Paige Opens in Brentwood, Malibu

Paige is opening two new L.A. locations: The first will open in Brentwood later this month, while the second will open in Malibu this May.

Both locations will carry the brand's classic denim collection — which is a style staple for influencers and celebrities (Olivia Palermo, Nicole Richie) — as well as outerwear and tops.

The Brentwood location (open April 27) features an airy, white-washed oak floor that was made in L.A., as well as hand-painted curtains, French blue accents and graphite steel fixtures.

  • Reformation Launches Swimwear

L.A.-based cool-girl label Reformation has launched swimwear.

"Ref Swim is here," the sustainable fashion brand announced on Instagram Thursday. "We can't help with bad tan lines, sweat or sand in weird places. But we did make some damn cute suits with tops and bottoms you can mix and match."

The vintage-inspired offering includes a checkered one piece with a center front cut out ($168), a striped, scooped neck one piece ($148), and bikini tops and high-waisted bottoms in various colors and prints ($78 to $98).

Luxury boutique PERI.A has opened its doors on Robertson.

The shop was the brainchild of Peri Arenas, who also owns the Veri Peri store inside the Parker Palm Springs Hotel. Her new boutique will carry an assortment of emerging and established designers, including Shrimps and Derek Lam.

Arenas worked with interior decorator Lynda Murray on the space, which will also feature a gift wrapping station and "high-tech" dressing rooms with TVs playing music and videos.

  • Tamara Mellon's L.A. Pop-Up

Tamara Mellon wants to get personal.

The former Jimmy Choo designer, who relaunched her eponymous shoe collection in 2016, is popping up on Robertson Blvd. and now taking appointments for personal styling consultations with members of her team. Book a 45-minute session online (or call (866) 419-5500) and a style expert will pre-pull styles based on your size and preferences.

If you're more of a spontaneous shopper, walk-ins are also welcome.

British ecommerce giant ASOS and the L.A.-based chain-stitch embroidery business, Lot, Stock & Barrel, have teamed up for a capsule collection coming later this month.

The collection includes denim jackets, jeans, and swimsuits embroidered with cheeky phrases like "Best Tail in Town" and "Today's Catch" as well as punny patches (a donut reading "Weird-Dough") and other add-ons in the shape of flames, animals and more.

The collection, priced $5 to $90, is now available online.

  • Aritizia Opens L.A. Flagship in Century City

After a long wait, Canadian retailer Aritzia (whose fans include cool girls like Lily Collins and Karlie Kloss) has finally opened its doors in Century City.

The brand's first L.A. flagship is one of the newest retailers at the Westfield Century City mall, which has been undergoing major construction over the past year.

The massive space is 11,000 square feet and includes a private VIP shopping area for a personal shopping experience, as well as graphic wall murals and marble fixtures.

For the opening, the brand collaborated with the popular Instagram account @overheardLA on a collection of totes reading, "If Aritzia served brunch I would literally never leave." Shoppers can win the bags by reposting the image of the bag below.
