Who said you need a reason to blow through some cash? Here, the sample sales, store openings and pop-ups to know in L.A. this week.

  • Roc96 x MadeWorn's Revolve Pop-Up

Starting Thursday, Roc-a-Fella Records fans can get their hands on the latest offering from co-founder Kareem "Biggs" Burke: The Roc96 x MadeWorn collection.

Unlike the Apt. 4B merchandise, which Biggs and Jay Z launched on the 20th anniversary of the Reasonable Doubt album, the new luxury collection — all handmade in Los Angeles — has a high-fashion edge. Better yet, the collection of tees, coats, jumpsuit and more is unisex. "A lot of times when you do stuff the women feel like they’re left out," Biggs told the Hollywood Reporter at the pre-launch event on Wednesday evening, which was attended by Paris Hilton and Rihanna.

The collection, priced $160-$3000, is kicking off with pop-up shop at Revolve's Social Club on Melrose, which has been completely redecorated to in honor of the collaboration — complete with a "Dead Presidents" room outfitted like the Oval Office.

"The collaboration with Blaine [Halvorson] at MadeWorn — he and I saw eye-to-eye on what we wanted to convey with the music, with everything. It's like the sewing needle and the record needle came together and created something new, and that’s what Roc96 is about." The pair will continue dropping a new collection every season, and plan to sell at Luisa Via Roma, Barneys New York and at the Maxfield space in addition to Revolve.

    The pop-up will be open from June 1-4, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

To celebrate both Pride month as well as the company's newest color offerings (red and purple) the space will be decked out with a rainbow theme.
