Oh, and the premiere of Boardwalk Empire became the most-watched season opener since 2004’s Deadwood, with 4.8 million viewers. “We are not restrained by advertisers or standards and practices,” the former TV literary agent says. “What we do need to do is to make the shows fantastic.”
