With the ABC reality series currently airing its 12th season with JoJo Fletcher, THR looks back at what happened after these former Bachelorettes handed out the last rose.
What happened during the finale: Rehn, a former Miami Heat cheerleader and runner-up on season one of The Bachelor (with Alex Michel), was chosen to be the first female contestant to lead ABC's spin-off series The Bachelorette. She gave her final rose to Ryan Sutter, and the couple's 2003 wedding ceremony was later televised in a three-part special titled Trista & Ryan's Wedding.
What she's doing now: Since starring in the reality series, Rehn has appeared on season one of Dancing With the Stars (she was partnered with Louis Van Amstel) and Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars in 2014. Rehn and Sutter are still happily married and have two children named Maxwell and Blakesley.
What happened during the finale: Phillips was the third runner-up on Bob Guiney's season of The Bachelor. Her run as ABC's second Bachelorette ended when she gave her final rose to Ian McKee and the two got engaged. They split in 2005, almost a year after the series' premiere.
What she's doing now: Phillips is now a professional chef, the author of The Date Night Cookbook and co-president of ProChef, Inc.
What happened during the finale: The PR specialist who stole Andrew Firestone's heart on season three of The Bachelor returned as the Bachelorette after the couple called it quits. Schefft shocked viewers when she narrowed down her search to two men — Jerry Ferris and John Paul Meritt — and chose neither during the show's finale.
What she's doing now: Schefft currently resides in Chicago with her husband Joe Waterman and two daughters, Mae and Charlotte. In March, the former reality star addressed Bachelor Nation with a tweet about her thoughts on ABC's decision to choose JoJo Fletcher as the star of season 12 over Caila Quinn, who was presumed to be the next Bachelorette.
What happened during the finale: The real estate agent, who appeared on season 11 of The Bachelor with Brad Womack, got engaged to Jesse Csincsak, but the pair split just months after the show's end.
What she's doing now: Pappas is married to Stephen Stigliano (whose twin brother competed on season 5 of The Bachelorette) and has a daughter named Addison Marie. In 2009, she briefly served as co-host of Lifetime TV's Get Married and has appeared on an episode of Oxygen's Bachelorette Party.
Wow! A marriage & 2 babies later...man, time flies!https://t.co/7Q9sWVbrYo— DeAnna Stagliano (@DeAnnaPappas) May 19, 2016
What happened during the finale: The interior designer and first Canadian Bachelorette gave her final rose to Ed Swiderski, but the pair called it quits in 2010.
What she's doing now: Harris serves as a host on HGTV's Love It or List It Too and W Network's Love it or List it Vancouver, a home design reality series, and has also appeared as a designer on ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. She also manages her own lifestyle site, www.jillianharris.com, a platform she uses to showcase her interior design work.
What happened during the finale: Fedotowsky, who appeared on Jake Pavelka's season of The Bachelor, got engaged to Roberto Martinez at the end of the show, though the pair split shortly after in 2011.
What she's doing now: The former Bachelorette has served as a Fox news correspondent and host of NBC's lifestyle show 1st Look (from 2012-2013). For two years, Fedotowsky also worked as a correspondent for E! News (and blogged about The Bachelor for E! Online). She's currently engaged to radio host Kevin Manno and pregnant with her first child.
What happened during the finale: The pediatric dentist and her construction manager beau were (clearly) a match made in Bachelorette heaven when Ashley Hebert said yes to J.P. Rosenbaum's proposal.
What she's doing now: Following the happily ever after season 7 finale, the couple wed in a televised special in December 2012. In September 2014, Hebert and Rosenbaum welcomed their first child, son Fordham. The Bachelorette and her family currently reside in Miami, FL.
What happened during the finale: Emily Maynard and entrepreneur Jef Holm found love on the season 8 finale of The Bachelorette when the People Water founder proposed to the single mother.
What she's doing now: During the "After the Rose" special, Maynard revealed that she and Holm were still together but hadn't set a wedding date, which was followed months later with the announcement of the couple's breakup. Two years following her quest for love in the reality TV realm, the North Carolina blonde wed automotive management consultant Tyler Johnson in June 2014. The pair welcomed their first child together, son Jennings Tyler Johnson, a year later in July 2015.
What happened during the finale: After meeting her family in Antigua and asking her father for permission, Chris Siegfried proposed to Desiree Hartsock on the season 9 finale of The Bachelorette.
What she's doing now: Following their engagement on the reality show, the bridal stylist packed up and moved to Seattle to be with Siegfried. After 20 months of love, the couple wed Jan. 18, 2015 in Ranchos Palos Verdes, Calif. The designer and her hubby continue to reside in Washington and are expecting their first bundle of joy in October 2016, five months following the release of Hartsock's first book, My Fairytale Wedding: Planning Your Dream Wedding Without Breaking the Bank.
What happened during the finale: Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray gave audiences a happy ending when the two got engaged on the finale after the former pro baseball player got down on one knee and proposed to the assistant district attorney.
What she's doing now: Though viewers hoped for a Bachelorette wedding between the couple, Dorman and Murray broke up five short months after the reveal of their engagement. In the two years since her run on the ABC reality show, the Bachelorette added book author to her resume, releasing It's Not Okay: Turning Heartbreak into Happily Never After on May 17, 2016.
What happened during the finale: The Canadian dance instructor went from single to taken during the season 11 finale of The Bachelorette. Though the blunt Bachelorette broke runner-up Nick Viall's heart, she and Shawn Booth found love when he got down on one knee and she accepted.
What she's doing now: Since the wrap of her season, Bristowe has been an active blogger on her self-titled website — KaitlynBristowe.com — and collaborated with a designer in the creation of prints, drinkware and apparel. Just a few weeks shy of the season 12 Bachelorette premiere, Bristowe and Booth celebrated their one-year engagement anniversary, which she celebrated with a captioned photo on Instagram: "Look at these young crazy kids. We've grown so much as individuals, and as a couple in the last year. In 60 years I will still grab your face like this, and love you with my whole #HappyAnniversary."
What happened during the finale: Though Southern sweetheart JoJo was hopeful that Ben Higgins would get down on one knee and propose — especially after he told her that he loved her — her heart was broken during the season 20 finale of The Bachelor when he gave the finale rose to Lauren Bushnell.
What she's doing now: Now the season 12 Bachelorette, JoJo will pick between her final two men, Jordan Rodgers and Robby Hayes, when The Bachelorette airs its finale on Monday, Aug. 2 (at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC). She will also appear with both men on the After the Final Rose special, which airs live after the finale.
