MTV Video Music Awards: List of Winners

The annual awards show aired live from New York's Madison Square Garden on Sunday.

MTV handed out its Video Music Awards on Sunday night at New York's Madison Square Garden.

Beyonce topped the winners with a total of seven awards, surpassing Madonna for most VMA wins ever.

Fans vote on the winners, who receive the iconic Moonman statuette.
