How far would you go to survive?

That's the question posed when The CW's postapocalyptic drama The 100 returns Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

The Hollywood Reporter exclusively premieres the first official poster for the sophomore season and it focuses squarely on Clarke's (Eliza Taylor) new surroundings at Mount Weather. What is she doing there? Will she ever get out? As the tagline asks, "Would you sacrifice freedom for survival?" (Watch the opening scene from the premiere.)

The new season picks up with the group still scattered and desperate to be reunited. As members of The 100 and new arrivals from the Ark begin to stake out their place, they are confronted with the physical peril and moral dilemmas that come with recreating a society.

Paige Turco, Thomas McDonell, Bob Morley, Marie Avgereopoulos, Devon Bostwick, Lindsey Morgan, Ricky Whittle, Christopher Larkin, Isaiah Washington and Henry Ian Cusick also star. Jason Rothenberg serves as showrunner and is an executive producer along with Leslie Morgenstein.

The 100 returns Oct. 22 on The CW.
