Bravo has set the cast for its first half-hour scripted comedy series.

Joining series creator and star Jill Kargman in Odd Mom Out are Abby Elliott, Andy Buckley, Sean Kleier, KK Glick and Joanna Cassidy, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Based on the life of author/fashionista Kargman, the single-camera series captures the outrageous world of the uber-wealthy "momzillas" of New York's Upper East Side. Kargman will star and play a version of herself negotiating a world that has become so elite, hip and trendy that she's now the odd mom out. The comedy is based on her novel Momzillas (Doubleday/Broadway), which was published in 2007. The 10-episode series will begin production this month in New York.

Buckley (The Office, Veep) will play Jill's classically blue-blood and moneyed husband, Andy. Elliott (Saturday Night Live) is set as Jill's sister-in-law and quintessential momzilla, Brooke. Kleier (Madam Secretary, The Affair) will portray Lex, Jill's megasuccessful brother-in-law. Glick (CollegeHumor) is Vanessa, an ER doctor and Jill's best friend and confidant who does her best to keep Jill in check. Cassidy (Six Feet Under) is Jill's mother-in-law, the status-obsessed family matriarch, Candace.

The series hails from showrunners Julie Rottenberg and Elisa Zuritsky, with Left/Right Films' (Mob Wives) co-presidents Ken Druckerman and Banks Tarver on board to executive produce alongside Kargman and Piro Vision's Tim Piper and Daniel Rosenberg.

A premiere date for Odd Mom Out has not yet been determined.
