In its press release, ABC calls winemaker Flajnik "a rare, modern Renaissance man," who is "confident that having found love on The Bachelorette, he will find his soul mate and a lasting, love-filled relationship this time on The Bachelor."
Flajnik will make his first official appearance as the new Bachelor on the season finale of sister-show Bachelor Pad September 12.
