ABC Orders Ryan Seacrest's 'Mixology,' Sofia Vergara's 'Killer Women,' 'Once' Spinoff, More

In a bid to beef up its comedy brand, the 'Modern Family' network adds half-hour efforts from the 'Pitch Perfect' star, former 'Breaking In' showrunner and actor James Caan.

"Once Upon a Time in Wonderland"

ABC is moving forward with projects from Rebel Wilson, Breakin In's Adam F. Goldberg and Lone Star's Kyle Killen. 

Less than a week before Disney bass is set to present its new fall wares to Madison Avenue buyers, ABC has picked up a comedy starring James Caan, two projects from David Zabel and Ryan Seacrest Production's first scripted effort Mixology. They will join returning series including Modern Family, The Middle, Scandal and Grey's Anatomy on the network's 2013-14 schedule.

Super Fun Night* (rolled from CBS last year)
Logline: Revolves around three nerdy female friends, including Pitch Perfect's Rebel Wilson, on a "funcomfortable" quest to have "super fun" every Friday night.

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland
Logline: In Victorian England, the young and beautiful Alice (Sophie Lowe) tells a tale of a strange new land that exists on the other side of a rabbit hole.  An invisible cat, a hookah smoking caterpillar and playing cards that talk are just some of the fantastic things she’s seen during this impossible adventure.  Surely this troubled girl must be insane and her doctors aim to cure her with a treatment that will make her forget everything.  Alice seems ready to put it all behind her, especially the painful memory of the genie she fell in love with and lost forever -- the handsome and mysterious Cyrus (Peter Gadiot).  But deep down Alice knows this world is real and just in the nick of time, the sardonic Knave of Hearts (Michael Socha) and the irrepressible White Rabbit (John Lithgow) arrive to save her from a doomed fate. Together, the trio will take a tumble down the rabbit hole to this Wonderland where nothing is impossible.
