ABC has found the secret to summer Sunday success, and it's a blast from the past.

The Disney-owned network has renewed all three of its retro Sunday game shows — Match Game, Celebrity Family Feud and $100,000 Pyramid, new entertainment president Channing Dungey announced Thursday at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour.

All the classic game shows air as a three-hour block on Sundays and have helped the network improve its fortunes on the night during the typically lower-rated summer period.

Pyramid, hosted by Michael Strahan, bowed with a 1.7 rating among adults 18-49 and nearly 8 million viewers, making it the most watched Big Four telecast of the night. It will be back for a second season.

Celebrity Family Feud — hosted by Steve Harvey — got the go-ahead for a fourth season after returning to a 1.5 rating in the demo, tying the summer debut of CBS juggernaut Big Brother. It's down year-over-year but still a sturdy performer for ABC on the night.

Match Game, hosted by Alec Baldwin, is also holding up well after debuting to a 1.5 rating in the key adults under 50 demo.
