An ABC spokesperson confirms that William Devane has joined the series in a guest role, as first reported by EW.
He’ll play Conrad Grayson’s (Henry Czerny) father, Edward. And here’s the twist: Victoria called on the Grayson patriarch to help her in the divorce proceedings against his son. He joins the series for Episodes 14 and 15 airing in January.
And apparently, Episode 15 will be a big one as it addresses the murder scene from the series pilot.

Devane played James Heller on 24, but primetime soap fans will also remember him as the plotting politician, Gregory Sumner, on the Dallas spinoff, Knots Landing, from 1983-1993. His movie credits include Marathon Man, Payback, and Hollow Man.
Revenge returns on Wed., Jan. 4. on ABC.
