Alec Baldwin is putting down roots at ABC Studios.

The Match Game host has signed a two-year first-look deal with the Disney-owned studio, ABC announced Sunday ahead of its time at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour.

Under the pact, Baldwin will return to host the previously announced third season of ABC's unscripted hit Match Game as well as develop scripted and unscripted fare for the studio via his El Dorado Pictures banner. The company's Mallory Schwartz will oversee the slate.

"Alec’s quick wit, charm and star power set the stage for an unadulterated and can’t-miss hour of television each week on Match Game,” ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey said. “The series is an integral part of ABC Fun & Games, and I’m glad to have it and Alec back."

With the deal, Baldwin moves from his longtime home at Universal Television, where he starred on NBC's 30 Rock and recently secured an Emmy nomination for his portrayal of President Donald Trump on the studio's Saturday Night Live. He recently signed on to star in NBC's Universal TV-produced live production of A Few Good Men, set to air in the second quarter of 2018.

"Alec Baldwin is one of the most prolific, creative people in the entertainment industry,” ABC Studios president Patrick Moran said. “We’re looking forward to channeling that creativity for our studio."

Baldwin is slated to return to play Trump on SNL in a more limited capacity this fall. He is repped by CAA.
