'All My Children' Actress to Star in Hallmark Mini 'Love's Christmas Journey' (Exclusive)
Natalie Hall will star as a pioneer woman who has lost her husband and daughter in the two-part holiday special co-starring Sean Astin, Greg Vaughan, Dylan Bruce and JoBeth Williams.
All My Children’s Natalie Hall has made plans for the holidays.
The actress, who has played Colby Chandler on the long-running ABC soap opera, has booked the lead in the Hallmark miniseries Love’s Christmas Journey.
In the two-hour, two-part miniseries, slated to air in November, Hall will play Ellie King, a young pioneer woman who has suffered the loss of her husband and daughter.
In the mini, part of the Love Comes Softly series based on the books by Janette Oke, Ellie (Hall) will visit her brother Aaron (General Hospital's Greg Vaughan), a sheriff in the small town of Haddonton, and his two children during the Christmas holiday. When a corrupt attorney in town leaves an innocent young man to blame for Mayor William Wayne's (Sean Astin) barn catching fire and burning, Ellie steps in to help.
Dylan Bruce (As the World Turns), JoBeth Williams (Private Practice), Ryan Wynott (The Cape), Jada Mae Facer and Bobby Campo (CSI: Miami) co-star.
Dave Cass Sr., who helmed Hallmark’s 2002 miniseries Johnson County War, will direct.
Hall, repped by The Group Entertainment and Paradigm, will next be seen in an arc on ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars, where she’ll play Kate, the stepsister to Ashley Benson’s Hanna.
After being canceled in April, All My Children will air its final episode on Friday, Sept. 23 at 1 p.m., with lifestyle series The Chew taking over the time slot on Monday, Sept. 26.
