Amazon's Bosch has tapped a new showrunner.

Daniel Pyne (Alcatraz) has been selected to take over showrunning duties for Eric Overmyer, with the latter having departed for the streamer's Man in the High Castle. John Mankiewicz (House of Cards) — a frequent collaborator with Pyne — has also joined the series as an executive producer. Overmyer will continue to be credited as an executive producer.

Bosch is currently in production on its third season, with a renewal for season four of the procedural already announced.Starring Titus Welliver, the series ranks as Amazon's longest-running original. It is expected to return this year.

Overmyer developed the drama, based on the Michael Connelly novels, for television. Fabrik Entertainment's Henrik Bastin as well as Pieter Jan Brugge and Connelly will executive produce.

Pyne is repped by WME.
