AMC has released the first look at its drama Low Winter Sun.
The series, based on a 2006 British miniseries, is a contemporary story of murder, deception, revenge and corruption in a world where the line between cops and criminals is blurred. The drama kicks off with the murder of a cop by a Detroit detective.

The Walking Dead favorite Lennie James (who plays Morgan on the zombie drama) stars opposite Mark Strong, who starred in the original Simon Donald entry. The series hails from Criminal Minds' Chris Mundy, who serves as showrunner, with Jeremy Gold and Greg Brenman also exec producing the AMC Studios/Endemol Studios production. Walking Dead helmer Ernest Dickerson directed the pilot.
