Zombies, ad men and a pair of classic movies feature prominently in AMC's Thanksgiving weekend plans.

Marathons of original series The Walking Dead and Mad Men, along with broadcasts of Gone With the Wind and The Godfather trilogy will be among the network's offerings over the long holiday frame.

On Wednesday, Nov. 23, the cabler will mark the 75th anniversary of Gone With the Wind, airing the Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable classic at 9 a.m., 2 p.m., 7 p.m. and midnight.

Thanksgiving day will feature a day with Godfather beginning at 11:30 a.m. with the first film in the franchise, followed by The Godfather: Part II at 3:30 p.m.; the films will repeat at 8 p.m. and midnight, respectively.

On Sunday, Nov. 27, at 6 a.m. AMC will marathon original series Mad Men, with the start of a weekly catch-up session featuring three episodes from the first season: "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes," "Ladies Room" and "The Marriage of Figaro." The marathon will continue every Sunday morning leading up to the Season 5 premiere in March.

Leading up to the midseason finale of Robert Kirkman's zombie drama, AMC at 2:30 p.m. will marathon Season 2 episodes of The Walking Dead, airing every episode from the Andrew Lincoln starrer's sophomore frame.

Following the Walking Dead's final new installment of the year, AMC will air the fourth episode of rookie Western drama Hell on Wheels.

AMC's offerings join a Biggest Loser reunion special on NBC and James Bond marathon on Syfy, among other holiday fare.
