'American Horror Story' Bringing Lily Rabe Back for 'Hotel'
After largely sitting out Freak Show, American Horror Story favorite Lily Rabe is eyeing a return to the FX anthology.
The actress is in talks to return for a main role in the upcoming fifth season, Hotel, of the Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk drama, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
As first reported by EW, Rabe — currently starring on ABC's summer bubble show The Whispers — would play a famous serial killer who has stayed at the show's central hotel.
The gig would bring Rabe back into the franchise after the actress' leading roles in Asylum (as Sister Mary Eunice) and Coven (as Misty Day). She reprised her Asylum role for a brief appearance in last year's Freak Show.
American Horror Story returns in October and will star Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Evan Peters, Finn Wittrock, Chloe Sevigny, Wes Bentley and Cheyenne Jackson.
