To plug the spot, Faris teamed up with SNL cast member Kenan Thompson for three promo spots, each of which makes a real push for awkward moments.

First Faris dresses up like Thompson for Halloween, before getting stuck in is aggressive embrace, before finally mistaking him for an older white man named "Mike."

When Faris last hosted, in September 2008, she had distinction of following one of Tina Fey's several acclaimed -- and highly rated -- cameos playing Sarah Palin.
