'Apartment 23's' 'Dawson's Creek' Reunion: Who Else Should Join?
Busy Philipps will guest star in the Season 2 premiere and five other ex-"Creek" stars who should come along for the ride.
ABC's Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 will stage a Dawson's Creek reunion in its second season premiere.
When the comedy co-starring James Van Der Beek returns in October, Cougar Town's Busy Philipps will cameo as TV JVDB attempts to reunite the Capeside gang, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
As first reported by TVGuide.com, Philipps -- like Van Der Beek -- will play herself on the ABC comedy. Philipps joined Dawson's Creek late in its run as Joey's (Katie Holmes) college roommate and Pacey's (Joshua Jackson) eventual (troubled) girlfriend with rock star aspirations.

With Apartment 23 producers -- and the cast! -- both gung-ho to see Jackson, Holmes and Michelle Williams (Jen) guest star, here are five other former Dawson's Creek stars who would be ripe for comedy.
1. Kristen Solt (Lily). That's right, the youngest of the Leery family, she played Dawson's younger sister -- who (sob!) would grow up to never know her father. She's now a struggling actress still clinging to her infant star credibility who turns to TV JVDB for a career boost -- only he doesn't remember her. (Aww!)
2. Hal Ozsan (Todd): Dawson's annoying L.A. director-turned-good guy pops in to (naturally) want to film and direct said reunion -- in character as Todd.
3. Chad Michael Murray (Charlie): Following flings with Jen and Joey, Murray pops in to pitch a reunion featuring (what else) a fling with his former leading lady in Dawson's college movie, Audrey.

4. Ken Marino (Professor Wilder): The Childrens Hospital co-star catches wind of TV JVDB's reunion and in a bid to make out with Holmes again, pitches himself for the gig under the assumption that Holmes is in. Happy to oblige, The Beek shamelessly makes him jump through endless hurdles, with Marino learning at the last minute that Holmes couldn't make it.
5. Michael Pitt (Henry): TV James runs into Pitt backstage while promoting Dancing With the Stars on the late-night circuit and goes overboard as he woos him to join the reunion.
