'Army Wives': 'Carrie Diaries' Actress to Play Brooke Shields' Daughter
Kaley Ronayne will recur on the rebooted seventh season of the Lifetime drama.
Lifetime's Army Wives has cast a daughter for Brooke Shields.
Newcomer Kaley Ronayne has booked a recurring role on season seven of the cable network's rebooted drama, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
STORY: Brooke Shields Joins Lifetime's 'Army Wives'
The actress, who recently guest starred on the CW's Carrie Diaries, will play Hannah Young, the daughter to Brooke Shields' brash Air Force Col. Katherine "Kat" Young. Hannah is a go-getter with a sensitive side and a savvy Citadel cadet on the rise. She's the youngest member of an Air Force family with a long legacy eager to blaze her own path. Ultimately, she's torn between following the family's Air Force tradition of flying fixed wing aircraft or following her heart into the Army to fly attack helicopters.
She becomes the latest addition to the series' seventh season, joining actor-musician Jesse McCartney(Greek), who will have an 11-episode recurring arc and three new series regulars in Broadway alum Elle McLemore, Ashanti and Torrey DeVitto (The Vampire Diaries).
Army Wives, which was renewed in September, will return with a major shake-up for its seventh season with star Kim Delaney exiting the drama and co-star Sally Pressman recurring as the series will confront the aftermath of the deadly plane crash featured in its sixth-season finale.
Season seven of Army Wives premieres March 10 at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
Ronayne is repped by AC Management and Abrams Artists.
