Kalon McMahon, who appeared on the current season of The Bachelorette with Emily Maynard, will be among the residents. The Houston socialite was booted by Maynard after he referred to her 6-year-old daughter as “baggage.”
McMahon will be up against the winner of the previous season of The Bachelor Pad, Michael Stagliano. Although Stagliano won the season, he suffered the humiliation of discovering that his former fiancée Holly Durst had fallen in love and gotten engaged with fellow contestant Blake Julian. The couple got married June 2.
Joining the dating-show vets will be five newcomers, labeled "super fans," who were chosen from an open call.
The remaining Bachelor and Bachelorette alumni who will join the house are:
Lindzi Cox (Season 16, Ben Flajnik), who was rejected by Flajnik in the finale.
Blakely Jones (Season 16, Flajnik), who couldn’t get along with the women in the house.
Sarah Newlon (Season 11, Brad Womack), who is now single and “ready to mingle.”
Jamie Otis (Season 16, Flajnik), who shared the most awkward kiss/lap dance ever seen on television with Flajnik before being sent home.
Erica Rose (Season 9, Prince Lorenzo Borghese), who caused plenty of trouble while appearing on Bachelor Pad 2.
Jaclyn Swartz (Season 16, Flajnik), the self-proclaimed “mean girl.”
Rachel Trueheart (Season 16, Flajnik), who beat out Blakely on a 2-on-1 date but still was sent home when she wouldn’t open up.
Ryan Hoag (Season 4, DeAnna Pappas), a former NFL player who only has money on his mind this time.
Reid Rosenthal (Season 5, Jillian Harris), who returned to propose to Harris after she had already rejected him … and was rejected again.
Nick Peterson (Season 7, Ashley Herbert), a quiet guy who didn’t find his voice until "The Men Tell All" special.
Tony Pieper (Season 8, Emily Maynard), a single father who thought Maynard was the only one for him.
- Ed Swiderski (Season 5, Jillian Harris), who proposed to Harris but broke off their engagement in July 2010.
ABC will air the two-hour season premiere of Bachelor Pad 3 at 8 p.m. Monday, July 23.
