'Bachelor Pad' Finale: What the Critics Are Saying
One notes the ABC reality hit -- which crowned Holly Durst and Michael Stagliano winners -- is "three hours of idiocy," while another calls it "epic."
Holly Durst and her partner -- and ex-fiance -- Michael Stagliano -- earned the $250,000 prize on the ABC finale of The Bachelor Pad 2 Monday night. They'll split the prize, each taking home $125,000.

They were chosen over the 14 previously eliminated contestants during the three-hour finale, beating out Michelle Money and Graham Bunn and Vienna Girardi and Kasey Kahl.
So what are the critics saying about the show?
Meghan Carlson of Buddy TV called the finale "three hours of idiocy," and admitted she was "flipping back and forth to the Miss Universe pageant." After detailing the first challenge, she joked, "Literally nothing happened in the first hour and a half. Good grief. Couldn't all of these updates have happened on TMZ? Oh well. We soldier on. Because what choice do we have?"

When the final results were announced, she added, "I'd call it anticlimactic, but that would mean that there was a buildup, which there wasn't. Just one long three-hour plateau."
Kristen Baldwin of EW's PopWatch blog seemed to like the finale more.

"Well rose lovers, were we not entertained? … If you have [finished watching the finale], you’re probably still hoarse from yelling at your TV after Holly and the Pad producers left poor Mike Stagliano bruised, battered, and broken hearted. (Okay, maybe I’m the only one who was yelling.)," she joked. "Of course, tonight we also crowned the “winners” — and thank GOD their names did not rhyme with Stacey and Brianna. [villains Vienna and Kasey]."
Andrea Reiher of Zap2It said she was rooting for "Graham and Michelle to win."
She was thrilled that Girardi and Kahl were booted.
But in the end, when it came down between Holly and Michael and Michelle and Graham, she wrote, "I don't I don't care who wins. I like them both."
