'Bachelor' Sean Lowe Joins 'Dancing With the Stars' Season 16 Cast
The reality star will stick around on ABC for at least another week, joining the 11 previously announced competitors.
Following weeks of rumors, Sean Lowe is confirmed for the upcoming cycle of Dancing With the Stars.
The Bachelor star, finishing his search for a bride and proposing to Catherine Giudici during Monday's season finale, confirmed his inclusion in the sixteenth season on Tuesday's Good Morning America. He'll dance with pro Peta Murgatroyd.

Lowe joins a mixed group of individuals to jump between the ABC franchises. Bachelor and Bachelorette star Trista Sutter was the first contestant ever eliminated on the ABC series during the first season -- and Bachelor competitor Melissa Rycroft finished third in her season before going on to win the recent All-Stars season.
The only previous Bachelor to compete, Jake Pavelka, only placed seventh during his run.

Dancing With the Stars returns to ABC in the Bachelor time slot on Monday, March 18. Lowe's previously announced castmates include fellow reality TV personalities Kellie Pickler and Lisa Vanderpump.
