Bachelorette Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! to talk about the finale and their future together. On Monday’s finale episode of The Bachelorette, Hebert chose Rosenbaum, who proposed to her on the show.

The happy couple told Kimmel that they got to spend a few days together right after their engagement. “We were in a very private house on a private island so it was very romantic for a few days,” said Hebert.

When asked about the wedding, Hebert said the end of next year, in the fall.

“She’s got to finish school,” said Rosenbaum. “She’s going to move up to New York, we’ll find a place, get settled, she’ll get a job.”

Kimmel also asked if the couple would consider going onto other reality shows, such as Dancing with the Stars. "At this point, I feel like with everything that's happened, I'm so emotionally drained, the only thing I want to do is be in New York with him, and go for coffee in the morning, and just get back to that normal life," said Hebert.

While the show aired, the couple lived in different cities, so they shared how they spent time together. They were allowed “chaperoned” visits every two weeks, and spent a lot of time on Skype, according to Rosenbaum.

“I don’t watch any TV anymore,” said Rosenbaum. “Gym, home, three hours of Skype, sleep.”

Kimmel showed a clip from The Bachelorette of Hebert kissing the other finalist, Ben.

“Jimmy, how dare you show that!” exclaimed Hebert.

Kimmel asked how the couple has dealed with watching the show, and seeing Hebert with the other contestants.

“We can kind of laugh about it now,” Ashley said. “When I would watch episodes, I would tell him, I think this is going to bother you. And he watches it and find 20 other things that bother him.”

“I actually hadn’t seen that until just now, so thanks,” said Rosenbaum of the clip.
