The network is standing behind its freshman series after giving a full-season order to "Arrow."
Fresh off a full-season order for superhero drama Arrow, The CW is showing its support for the other rookie series on its fall schedule.
The network has ordered three more scripts each for Beauty and the Beast and Emily Owens, M.D., The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Beauty and the Beast, starring Kristin Kreuk and Jay Ryan, had a solid series debut following a strong The Vampire Diaries lead-in, luring 2.8 million viewers before dropping in week two.
