Bill Engvall is returning to TBS.

Engvall, who starred on his own sitcom The Bill Engvall Show (which included Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence) for the network from 2007-09, will play Dale, a former 30-year executive at Circuit City who has been reduced to a minimum-wage employee since his company went belly-up.
Chuck's Ryan McPartlin co-stars in the entry written by Walt Becker (Glory Daze) and Rob Long (Sullivan and Son). James Widdoes (Sullivan and Son) will direct the pilot. The Office's Melora Hardin will play their boss.
Engvall's credits also include the Blue Collar features and TV series, Delta Farce and episodes of Leverage and Hawthorne. He's repped by Paradigm, Parallel Entertainment and Del Shaw.
