Does the recent fanfare over Jon Stewart's retirement announcement suggest the media's liberal bias? 

On Monday, Bill O'Reilly addressed the coverage of his friendly rival's decision to step down from hosting Comedy Central's Daily Show. O'Reilly claimed that the praise for Stewart is a testament to the "overwhelmingly liberal" views held by the press.

"He's their soulmate," O'Reilly said of TV personalities' apparent feelings for Stewart.

O'Reilly added that he wouldn't get the same treatment if he announced his retirement, or even if he were "run over by a bus tomorrow."
