It's not a complete deviation from the original, but after seven seasons with the same opening title track, Fox's Bones will have a revamped theme when the series returns this fall.

A clip of the series' new title sequence, first posted by TVLine, show that the veteran procedural has added new music in addition to different footage of the cast.

Original composers Crystal Method, who scored the theme song specifically for the show when it premiered in 2005. The electronic act did the remix themselves, retaining much of the old theme in the process.

The new titles come just a few days after Fox released the first trailer for the new season, featuring a blond and on-the-lamb Brennan (Emily Deschanel) reuniting with Booth (David Boreanaz) after months out of the picture.

Bones returns Monday, Sept. 17. Watch both videos below.
