Brooke Shields Books Arc on NBC's 'Michael J. Fox Show' (Exclusive)
Brooke Shields is heading back to NBC.
The Lipstick Jungle and Suddenly Susan alum has booked a multiple-episode arc on The Michael J. Fox Show, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.
Shields will play Deborah, a smart and beautiful single mother with a sweet and nerdy personality who doesn't quite have it all together. In her three-episode arc, she'll meet Ian Henry (Conor Romero) -- Mike Henry's (Michael J. Fox) 19-year-old son -- at a ballroom dance class and the chemistry between the two is unmistakable. Shields will begin her arc in 2014.
For Shields, the role comes after her recurring role on what became the final season of Lifetime's Army Wives. The guest gig comes as The Michael J. Fox Show continues to book major guest stars including Anne Heche and Sting, among others.
The Michael J. Fox Show airs Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. on NBC.
Shields, who recently directed Chicago at the Hollywood Bowl, is repped by UTA and Untitled Entertainment.
