Prepare to see the funny side of former NFL star Terry Crews on Fox's freshman comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

On the cop show from the creators of Parks and Recreation, Crews plays Sgt. Terry Jeffords, the no-nonsense cop who lost some edge when he turned into a family man.

In an exclusive clip from the second episode of the series, the cops from the Nine-Nine go to great lengths to impress their new captain, Ray Holt (Andre Braugher). Among them, Crews' Jeffords -- whose efforts to clean up the streets leave him barely hanging in there.
