Bryan Greenberg, Stephanie Sigman to Star in USA Network's Elmore Leonard Drama
"White Collar's" Kevin Bray has also signed on to direct the pilot, which will film in January in Miami.
USA Network has cast the leads in its Elmore Leonard drama pilot.
How to Make It in America's Bryan Greenberg and Miss Bala's Stephanie Sigman have been tapped to star in the cable network's pilot an adaptation of Leonard's short story from the anthology When the Women Come Out to Dance.
From Numbers co-creators Cheryl Heuton and Nicolas Falacci, the drama centers on a Billy, a Miami businessman contemplating a run for political office who tries to increase his chances of being elected by marrying a Columbian woman who is on the run from her troubled past. What starts as a marriage of convenience quickly escalates into much more as his new wife proves to be more resourceful at "fixing" any problem the corrupt South Miami political scene throws at her husband.

Greenberg, whose credits also include ABC's October Road and the CW's One Tree Hill, will play Billy.
Sigman, who starred in the 2011 Cannes Film Festival critical darling Miss Bala, will play Lourdes, lifting the cast-contingency on the pilot. The feature will be among the contenders for the best foreign-language film at last year's Academy Awards. She's currently shooting the FX pilot The Bridge for Miss Bala director Gerardo Naranjo.
In addition, White Collar and Suits helmer Kevin Bray will direct the pilot, which will likely begin production in January in Miami.
The untitled drama hails from Hypnotic, and marked the first project Universal Cable Productions sold to corporate sibling NBC last year.
Greenberg, whose How to Make It in America was canceled in December after two seasons at HBO, is repped by Gersh, Ellen Meyer and Jackoway Tyerman. Sigman is with ICM Partners and manager Jorge Mondragon.
At USA, the project comes after the network opted not to move forward with Fairly Legal, Political Animals and Common Law.
