'Burn Notice' Guest Star James Frain Teases Explosions, Reunions and 'Goofball' Moments
''Eye for an Eye" airs Thursday at 9 p.m. on USA Network.
True Blood veteran James Frain is heading to the sunny beaches of Miami on Burn Notice.
Earlier this week, The Hollywood Reporter posted an exclusive clip from Thursday's episode, "Eye for an Eye," in which Frain plays the head of a powerful corporation. But how exactly does he describe his character?
"My character is the head of a major corporation who's wife is paranoid about a stalker attacking them," Frain tells THR in an email. Of course, things aren't as peachy as they seem on the surface.
Frain, who worked with Burn Notice star Gabrielle Anwar on Showtime's The Tudors and "was keen to work with her again," described a moment on-set that will be forever remembered.
"We shot a corporate video for use in the background of a scene set in the corporation lobby," he recalled. "It was my character posing in front of impressive scientific statistics and I did a little goofing around, confident in the knowledge that only the serious takes would be used. When we got to the scene in the lobby, the projection of the video 20-ft. high had kept the goofball poses."
But Frain, who last starred in NBC's The Cape and has appeared in Water for Elephants, says one scene in particular will leave viewers breathless. "There's a scene in which a bunch of cars get blown up inside a parking lot that I think viewers will get a real bang out of," he revealed.
Burn Notice airs Thursday at 9 p.m. on USA Network.
