'Burn Notice': Patton Oswalt Gets Recruited for a Big Mission (Exclusive Video)
In an exclusive scene from Thursday's "Down and Out," Oswalt's Colin Schmidt has a secret that puts a kink in Michael Westen's plan.
Who do you call when you're in need of help? Patton Oswalt, of course.
The comedian-actor makes his first appearance as notorious smuggler Colin Schmidt on USA Network spy drama, Burn Notice, this week but his encounter with Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan), Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar), Sam (Bruce Campbell) and Jesse (Coby Bell) doesn't go over well.
In an exclusive scene provided to The Hollywood Reporter from "Down and Out," the gang desperately seeks the help of Oswalt's Colin, as he stands in between their quest to successfully leave the country.
STORY: 'Burn Notice' Renewed for Seventh Season
"We're told you're one of the best," Michael says to Colin, who is clearly offended at the notion that he isn't the best.
"I can smuggle the Queen of England wearing the crown jewels as a bikini past border security and nobody would bat an eye!" he shoots back.
But aha! There's more to Colin than meets the eye: a triple-lock on the door, empty food containers all over .. seems like a man harboring a secret, doesn't it? To cap it off, Fiona -- like the feisty "super spy" she is -- puts the "best smuggler in the world" in his place.
Watch the scene above to see what happens.
Burn Notice airs 10 p.m. Thursdays on USA.
