Cameron Diaz was admittedly nervous about singing "fairly well" for the upcoming movie-musical Annie.

"I sang in My Best Friend's Wedding. That was more true to my voice. But that's my karaoke voice, you see," she explained while on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday. "I had to actually have a voice for this song, for this film. I did a lot of training — as much as I could!"

Diaz appeared on Ellen alongside her Annie co-stars Quvenzhane Wallis and Jamie Foxx, whom she also acted with in the 1999 sports drama Any Given Sunday.

"We were just babies," said Diaz of the Oliver Stone film, which featured a memorable men's locker room scene. "Oliver was like, 'You know you have to shake all of their hands because they’re your players.' I was like, 'This is so crazy!' They are all walking around holding themselves naked. By the time I go to the end of the line though, I had some hand sanitizer."

Foxx also joked, "I was naked when the camera was off, because I didn't want everyone to go crazy!"

Annie hits theaters Dec. 19. Watch the video clips below.
