Cartoon Network's 'Beware the Batman' Teaser Hits the Web (Video)
The Warner Bros. Animation series is due next year and brings new villains into the animated world of the DC Comics hero.
Warner Bros. Animation has released the first teaser for Cartoon Network's upcoming Beware the Batman animated series.
Beware, which incorporates Batman's core characters with new villains previously unseen in animated form, also features the hero receiving backup from former secret agent Alfred and swordstress Katana.
The thriller features CGI visuals, intricate twists and turns and puts the DC Comics hero in the spotlight for a new generation of fans.
Due next year, the series will air on Cartoon Network as part of its DC Nation block.
"DC Nation on Cartoon Network will be the first-ever dedicated broadcast destination to showcase the depth and breadth of the DC Universe," DC Entertainment president Diane Nelson said in March 2011 when the programming block was first announced. "We and our partners at WBTV are thrilled that fans will be able to immerse themselves in DC's phenomenal stories, experience a wide spectrum of amazing characters and stay up-to-date on the latest happenings of the world's greatest superheroes and their creators, both on-air and online."
