Cartoon Network Renews Two Shows
The network has also picked up additional episodes of "Annoying Orange."
Cartoon Network has renewed two shows and ordered additional episodes of another.
Animated comedy Regular Show, has been picked up for a fifth season and The Amazing World of Gumball will return for a fourth, the network announced Thursday.
Additionally, Cartoon Network has picked up additional episodes of Annoying Orange.
Created by JG Quintel, Regular Show centers on a six-foot-tall bule jay Mordecai and a hyperactive raccoon Rigby, who work as groundskeepers at a park. Ed Asner, playing Santa Claus, and Thomas Haden Church, playing a rogue elf, will be featured in an upcoming holiday episode.
The Amazing World of Gumball, from Cartoon Network Studio Europe, follows the misadventures of 12-year-old Gumball and his family in the town of Elmore.
The web-to-TV series Annoying Orange was developed and produced by The Collective, and co-created by Dane Boedigheimer and Tom Sheppard.
