Catherine O'Hara to Star in Fox's 'To My Future Assistant'
She'll play one of the bosses at the law firm at the center of the comedy.
Catherine O'Hara is poised to torment some lowly assistants.
The Emmy-winning actress has been tapped to star in Fox's To My Future Assistant, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
STORY: TV Pilots 2013: The Complete Guide
Based on the blog and upcoming book To My Assistant by Lydia Whitlock, the comedy revolves around assistants at a big New York law firm who band together as a family to help one another cope with the obnoxious, overbearing bosses who challenge their sanity on a daily basis.
O'Hara will play Magda, an accomplished, stylish and powerful attorney who is the kind of woman who pretends to be your friend -- but isn't.
Friends' Sherry Bilsing-Graham and Ellen Kreamer will pen the Warner Bros. Television pilot and executive produce alongside Lin Pictures' Dan Lin and Jennifer Gwartz. Peyton Reed (Yes Man) will direct and exec produce the pilot for the single-camera comedy.

On the small screen, she's appeared in 30 Rock, Temple Grandin, for which she earned an Emmy nomination, and Six Feet Under.
O'Hara is repped by ICM Partners and Brillstein Entertainment.
