CBS Midseason Schedule Samples 'Golden Boy' in 'Vegas' Spot Before Friday Move
The network's lone new drama will spend two weeks on Tuesdays until taking the "CSI: NY" hour, while "Rules of Engagement" moves to Mondays and "Friend Me" still doesn't find a place on the lineup.
CBS has announced its winter/spring lineup -- and as its small midseason order would imply, there's little movement on the schedule.
Most notably, the new drama Golden Boy will air on Friday nights at 9 once the seventh season of CSI: NY concludes its run Feb. 22. Before its March 8 time-slot debut, Golden Boy will get a two-week sampling on Tuesday nights at 10 in Vegas' time slot.

Golden Boy stars Theo James (Downton Abbey, Bedlam) as an ambitious cop who becomes the youngest police commissioner in New York City history. It will be packaged with CBS' other NYPD commissioner drama, Blue Bloods.
Rules of Engagement, entering its seventh season, moves once again when it premieres in February. The comedy is taking over the half-hour vacated by the now-canceled Partners. Rules returns at 8:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4.
Veteran reality series Survivor and The Amazing Race will both return to their regular time slots -- 8 p.m. Wednesdays and Sundays, respectively. Survivor's spring edition kicks off Feb. 13, with The Amazing Race following days later on Feb. 17.
The only lingering question about CBS' lineup is the premiere date for Friend Me. The midseason comedy recently suffered the loss of co-creator and TV veteran Alan Kirschenbaum, who died in October. Friend Me's run will be announced at a later date.
