Charlie's Angels returns to the small screen with a new group of Angels: Minka Kelly, Rachael Taylor and Annie Ilonzeh.
According to a recent study, ABC's modern-day reboot of the 1976-81 television series is one of the most anticipated new shows viewers are clamoring for. But executive producers Al Gough and Miles Millar (Smallville) are aware of the pressures of relaunching a beloved property.
“We turned this down a couple times before we said yes,” Gough said at the summer Television Critics Assoc. press tour. “We know a show like this has a big target on its back.”
Kelly, Taylor and Ilonzeh may be the new faces of the Angels franchise, but they'll be joined by several guest stars in the first few episodes, including Smallville's Erica Durance and Old Spice guy, Isaiah Mustafa.
