Sarah’s (Yvonne Strahovski) mom is about to get a lot less estranged and a lot more awesome on the fifth and final season of Chuck premiering Oct. 28.

An NBC spokesperson confirms to The Hollywood Reporter that Cheryl Ladd will play Sarah’s mom, as first reported by TVLine.

Viewers will meet her in a January episode when the mother and daughter reunite after not seeing each other for five years. We don't know a lot about Sarah's parents. Her father was a con man and her mother left them when Sarah was still very young.

Ladd played Kris Munroe for four of the five seasons of the original Charlie’s Angels series. She has continued to act since the series ended in 1981. Most recently, she starred as Jillian on NBC’s Las Vegas, appeared on CSI: Miami, and she’s guest starring on CBS’ NCIS in October.
