Chicago P.D. is ringing in the new year with a new face on the Intelligence Unit.

As first reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Revenge alum Nick Wechsler will join the cop drama for a multi-episode arc and THR has the exclusive video of his series debut.

In the scene from the Jan. 4 episode, "Don't Read the News," Voight (Jason Beghe) introduces the team to Kenny Rixton (Wechsler), who happens to share a past with Voight.

Even more surprising than the sudden new addition to the team is the reason for his arrival, and specifically who he is replacing. The bombshell news leaves fellow new team member Burgess (Marina Squerciati) speechless.

Check out the exclusive video below.

Chicago P.D. returns with two new episodes Jan. 3 and 4 at 10 p.m. on NBC.
